New Delhi: Tomorrow, on May 4, from 8 am, the political fate of five states and one union territory of the country will begin to be revealed. Assam, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, the results of all these will come on the same day. Total 824 seats. The fortunes of five kingdoms in one day.
Voting took place in Assam, Kerala and Puducherry on 9 April. In Tamil Nadu on 23 April. And in West Bengal in two phases — on April 23 and 29. There were a total of 17.4 crore voters in the five states, 2.19 lakh polling stations were set up and about 25 lakh officers and employees were on duty.
In West Bengal, voting was 92.47 percent in both the phases combined 93.19 percent in the first phase and 91.66 percent in the second. This is a figure breaking the record of 84.72 percent of 2011. In both the phases, more women voters cast their votes than men. There is a direct contest between TMC and BJP on 294 seats in Bengal.
There are 294 seats in West Bengal, 234 in Tamil Nadu, 140 in Kerala, 126 in Assam and 30 in Puducherry. That means votes will be counted simultaneously on a total of 824 seats. Republic Bharat

Usually the initial trends start coming in the morning, but it may take till evening for the final results of all the seats to come. In many places, vote counting takes place in multiple rounds, so results become clear gradually.
