Janmashtmi 2025: Shri Krishna Janmashtami is not just a festival but a special day to remember the deeds of Lord Krishna. On this day people keep fast and celebrate the birth anniversary of Bal Gopal at 12 o'clock in the night. It is believed that for any devotee who keeps fast with a true heart on this day and donates things dear to God, sorrow and poverty go away from his life.

Donating on this occasion is considered very fruitful. Especially the things dear to Shri Krishna. So let us know what will be auspicious to donate on Janmashtami 2025 and which things can bring happiness in life. 

1. Donation of food and fruits

Donate food, fruits, or sweets to the poor or needy. This ensures prosperity in the house, and there is never a shortage of food and drink.

2. Donation of butter and sugar

Lord Krishna is very fond of butter. Therefore, donating butter and sugar made from cow's milk on this day is considered very auspicious.

3. Peacock Feather

Peacock feathers adorn the crown of Lord Krishna. Donate them to a temple or to a Brahmin. This removes negative energy.

4. Clothing and footwear

It is considered auspicious to give new clothes or Charan Paduka to children. It is especially auspicious to give children something in the form of a cow figurine.

5. Kamdhenu Cow Statue

It is believed that the Kamdhenu cow fulfills all wishes. Donating its small idol to a temple or a Pandit brings happiness and prosperity.

6. Donation of flute or flutes

The flute is the identity of Lord Krishna. Donating it to children or in a temple keeps the mind calm and reduces mental stress.
