Tata Tiago EV: Favorite of early EV users—how much range, what price?

The Tiago EV of Tata Motors is the most popular budget EV. Ex-showroom price: Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 11.24 lakh—19.2 kWh to 24 kWh battery. 250-315 km range on a single charge, with fast charging support. Features include a 7-inch touchscreen, LED headlamps, and ABS. Perfect for city driving and zero maintenance.  

MG Comet EV: The cheapest hatchback—Rs 7.50 lakh at 230 km range 

MG Motors' Comet EV is the most affordable EV on the market. The price ranges from Rs 7.50 lakh to Rs 9.56 lakh. The 17.3 kWh battery has a range of 230 km. It also features a compact size, a 10-inch touchscreen, and rear AC vents, but it is only a 4-seater and has less boot space. Very ideal for the city, but you will have to think before going on long trips.

Tata Punch EV: Budget SUV blast—315-421 km range, starts at Rs 9.99 lakh

Tata's first affordable EV SUV is the Punch EV. The price will start from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 14.44 lakh. The 25-35 kWh battery will have a range of 315-421 km. Features will include a 10.25-inch screen, a 360 camera, and a sunroof. The SUV look will be a safe choice for an EV family, but the charging time will be 3.5 hours. 

PMV EaS E: EV under Rs 5 lakh, but only 2-seater

If the budget is below Rs 5 lakh, then PMV EaS E can prove to be an option. Its price is Rs 4.79 lakh. The 10 kWh battery will have a range of 160 km. Apart from this, there will be compact, easy parking. but only a 2-seater; the boot is small. If you want to travel alone, then this can be a good option, but this option is not good for a family.
