New Delhi: Kia Motors has launched the 2026 version of its compact SUV Kia Syros in the Indian market. In the new model, the company has made some changes in the design and features, and the variant lineup has also been updated. The aim of the company is to give more options to the customers amidst increasing competition in this segment.
Kia has introduced Syros in variants like HTE, HTE (O), HTK (O) and HTX (O). Apart from this, the option of automatic transmission has been given in HTK and above variants, due to which an attempt has been made to make driving easier.
The new Syros has body color aero insert, LED fog lamps and updated rear bumper. Along with this, LED high mount stop lamp, glossy black roof rail and new original design mirrors have been added to the rear. New 17-inch alloy wheels and neon brake callipers are also provided in the top variants.
The company has also added three new paint options with this update, which will give customers the opportunity to choose the vehicle as per their choice. This change is believed to have been made especially keeping the young customers in mind.
Ex-showroom price of 2026 Kia Syros starts at Rs 8.39 lakh and the price of the top variant goes up to Rs 15.79 lakh. An attempt has been made to balance the price with new features.
In the compact SUV segment, Syros competes with vehicles like Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Maruti Fronx, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV 3XO. In such a situation, this segment has already become quite competitive.
Looking at the new features and variants, it is believed that Syros can now attract more customers than before. However, the final decision will depend on factors like price, mileage and trust in the brand.
