Auto News: Nissan Motor India has announced a big price cut in the Magnite range. GST rates have been reduced on the sub-4 meter SUV. This change will come into effect from 22 September 2025, which is the first day of Navratri. With this, prices have come down by about Rs 1 lakh on the top variants. Car buyers have a good opportunity before the festive season. Companies believe that low prices will increase demand, because in this segment, cheap prices often change the decision.

The cheapest variant Magnite Visia MT has now come down below Rs 6 lakh, with a new price of ₹ 5.61 lakh (ex-showroom). Mid-range automatic variants like the N-Connecta CVT and KURO CVT are now available below Rs 10 lakh. The biggest cuts have been made on the top variants CVT Tekna and CVT Tekna+, whose prices have been reduced by around ₹ 97,000 and ₹ 1 lakh, respectively.

Nissan Cuts CNG Kit Price

Along with the SUV, Nissan has also reduced the price of the CNG fitment kit. Now its price is ₹ 71,999. Which is Rs 3000 less than before. This kit is manufactured from government approved vendors. It gets a warranty of 3 years / 1 lakh km and the full 336-litre boot space of Magnite CNG is also retained.

Safety Features

Nissan Magnite recently received a 5-star rating from Global NCAP, with a perfect score in adult occupant protection. The SUV now comes with 6 airbags as standard across the range. At a time when crash test ratings are starting to influence buyers' decisions, Nissan wants to emphasize its strength. The company has also introduced a 10-year extended warranty plan for this model, which is a first in its segment. The long warranty is an attempt to reassure customers, especially those who are worried about the cost of the car in the long run.

Variants and special editions

To keep the range fresh, Nissan has also launched the Kuro Special Edition, which features all-black styling. Apart from this, a new metallic grey colour option has also been given in the higher variants. These updates have been made to increase the showroom appeal, as other companies in the compact SUV segment are constantly bringing new feature-rich models.
