Auto News: It has been almost four years since Skoda Auto India entered the mid-size SUV segment with the Kushaq. Now the model is going to get a mid-life update, and its test mules have already been spotted ahead of its launch early next year. The 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift is expected to retain the existing engine and get some special cosmetic changes and new features. In the mid-size SUV segment, it will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and other models.

The spy photo shows that the updated Kushaq will get a grille with slightly thinner vertical slats, newly designed headlamps with a connected DRL setup, and a fog lamp assembly. The SUV will also get connected tail lamps inspired by the new Kodiaq, new front and rear bumpers, and newly designed alloy wheels, which will further enhance its new look.

New Skoda Kushaq 2026 Features

The 2025 Skoda Kushaq facelift is expected to get new upholstery and trims. Feature upgrades will be in the form of Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) and a panoramic sunroof. Other features will be carried over from the current model, such as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment, an 8-inch digital driver display, an 8-speaker sound system, a wireless phone charger, auto AC with rear vents, ventilated front seats, 6 airbags, hill hold assist, a 360-degree camera, a rear parking camera with sensors, and ISOFIX child seat anchorage.

New Skoda Kushaq 2026 Engine

The company will not make any changes in its engine. The 2025 Skoda Kushaq facelift can come with 1.0-liter TSI and 1.5-liter TSI petrol engines, which will generate maximum power of 115 PS (178 Nm) and 150 PS (250 Nm). The engine can be mated to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox, while the larger engine will be available with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.
