Fuel prices remain stable in all major cities including the national capital Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai. However, there has been a rise in the prices of crude oil in the international market. After the increasing tension between America and Iran, oil has become expensive in the global market, but at present it has not affected the domestic fuel prices.
Petrol and diesel prices in India are updated every day at 6 am. Fuel prices vary from state to state due to VAT, local taxes, transportation costs and dealer commission.

A sharp rise in the prices of crude oil was recorded in the international market on Friday. Brent crude reached above 88 dollars per barrel, while US WTI crude also closed above 82 dollars per barrel due to increasing military tensions between the US and Iran and increasing risks on maritime trade routes.
However, there is currently no change in the prices of petrol and diesel in India. In the coming days, if the rise in crude oil prices in the global market continues for a long time, then its effect can be seen on domestic fuel prices also.
