IBPS Clerk 2026: Last Chance to Apply Today for 11,403 Posts, Check Exam Details

New Delhi: There is important news for the youth preparing for government jobs in banks. The application process for the recruitment conducted by IBPS for the post of Customer Service Associate is ending today. A total of 11,403 posts are to be filled through this recruitment drive. Candidates who have not applied yet will have to fill the form today itself. Application can be made online through IBPS website.

What needs to be done to apply?

To fill the form, candidates have to visit the recruitment website of IBPS. There you will have to register first by choosing the option of Customer Service Associate recruitment. After this, name, date of birth, educational qualification and other important information will have to be filled. The application fee will have to be deposited after uploading the required documents including photo and signature. It is important to check all the information once before finally submitting the form.

How much application fee will have to be paid?

The fee in this recruitment is not the same for all the candidates. General, OBC and EWS category candidates have to pay Rs 850. Whereas for SC, ST, candidates with benchmark disability and ex-servicemen, the fee has been kept at Rs 175. Fee can be deposited through online mode.

When will the first exam be held?

After the completion of the application process, the first examination of recruitment will be conducted in October. According to the schedule of IBPS, the preliminary examination of the customer service associate will be held on 10 and 11 October 2026. It is said that the admit card for appearing in the examination will be issued in September.

What will happen after passing the preliminary exam?

Candidates who are successful in the preliminary examination will get a chance to appear in the main examination. The main examination for this recruitment is proposed on 27 December 2026. That means the candidates have enough time to prepare for the preliminary exam and also make strategies for the upcoming exams.

On which post will the appointment be made?

This recruitment is being conducted to fill the posts of Customer Service Associate (CSA) in the participating banks. In banking recruitment parlance, CSA post is generally linked to clerk cadre. Details of vacancies available in different states and banks are given in the recruitment notification issued by IBPS.

What should those applying today keep in mind?

Those applying on the last day may face technical problems or high traffic on the website. Therefore, it is not right to postpone the form till the last moment. After submitting the application, keep its number, password and receipt safe.
