JEE Advanced 2026 Results Out: Delhi's Shubham Kumar Tops Exam with AIR 1

Shubham Kumar secured the first rank with 330 marks out of 360. Kabir Chhillar from the IIT Delhi Zone secured the second rank with 329 marks.

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Roorkee) has announced the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026 at official website jeeadv.ac.in along with the final answer key for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. This year, Shubham Kumar from IIT Delhi Zone has topped the exam, followed by Kabir Chhillar and Jatin Chahar, both from the IIT Delhi zone.

When did exams happen?

This year, the JEE Advanced exam was conducted on May 17. The exam was conducted in double shifts. The timing of the exam was for 3 hours. Paper 1 was conducted in the morning shift from 9 am to 12 noon, and Paper 2 was conducted in the afternoon shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. 

A total of 1,87,389 candidates registered for JEE (Advanced) 2026, of whom 1,79,694 appeared for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 held on May 17. Of those who appeared, 56,880 candidates qualified the examination, including 10,107 female candidates.

How to check scorecard?

To access the scorecards, candidates have to go to the official website jeeadv.ac.in. Then click on ‘JEE Advanced Results 2026’. After that, fill in the login details like, roll number, date of birth, and the registered mobile number, and click submit. The results will be available on the screen.

Who are the top performers?

IIT Roorkee also released the list of top performers in the examination. Shubham Kumar secured the first rank with 330 marks out of 360. Kabir Chhillar from the IIT Delhi Zone secured the second rank with 329 marks, while Jatin Chahar finished third with 319 marks.

  • Enter the required login credentials: Roll Number, DOB, mobile number
  • Click on the "Submit" button.
  • Your JEE Advanced 2026 result and scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download the scorecard and save a copy for future reference.
