NEET UG Admit Card 2026: NTA Will Release Hall Tickets On April 27; Know How To Download

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 Admit Card on April 27. Candidates who have registered for the exam will be able to download their hall ticket by visiting the official website neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET UG exam will be conducted in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm on May 3, in 552 cities across the country and 14 cities abroad.

Why is admit card needed?

The NEET UG admit card is a mandatory document for admission to the exam. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam center without the admit card. Candidates must also carry a valid government identification card. Aadhaar card, Voter ID, PAN card, or any other document mentioned on the admit card will be accepted as proof of identity.

What about the exam?

This year, the exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode (OMR sheets). A total of 180 questions will be asked, carrying a total of 720 marks. The exam duration is set at 3 hours. Correct answers will carry 4 marks, while incorrect answers will carry a negative marking of 1 mark. Last year, the NEET UG exam was held on May 4. About 22.09 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, of which 12.37 lakh were successful.

How to download NEET UG Admit Card 2026?

  • Step 1: First of all visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
  • Step 2: Click on the “NEET UG 2026 Admit Card” link in the “Candidate Activity” section on the homepage.
  • Step 3: Enter your application number, date of birth and security pin given on the screen.
  • Step 4: Click on “Submit” button.
  • Step 5: Admit card will appear on the screen, check all the details carefully.
  • Step 6: Download the admit card PDF and take 3-4 printouts. Preferably, print in color.
  • Step 7: Fill the required self-declaration and ensure the signature of the guardian.
