PIB Fact Check Dismisses Rumors of NEET UG Re-Exam Paper Leak as Completely Fake

The Press Information Bureau (PIB) Fact Check unit has refuted social media claims alleging that the NEET UG 2026 re-examination question paper was leaked, advising candidates to rely only on official sources.

New Delhi: A fresh rumour is doing the rounds on social media. Claims are being made that the NEET UG 2026 re-examination paper has been leaked. Students across various digital platforms have been raising questions and sharing the unverified claims widely. The PIB Fact Check unit has now stepped in and responded to the rumour directly.

What PIB had said?

A fact check unit of Press Information Bureau (PIB) denied all the social media claims. Claims were alleging that the NEET UG re-exam also had been leaked. PIB advised students to not to trust on such claims. It also suggested to not to share, or reshare such unverified, unathentic examination related posts.

What were the claim surfaced?

Several claims consisting the examination related rumors. A user shared screenshot purposefully which was received from Telegram group. He asked if the NEET UG exam cancelled again. 

What PIB Fact Check had responded?

Responding to the claim, PIB assured students and said that the fresh NEET paper was not leaked. The claims are false.

PIB Fact Check further added that the students should only rely on official sources. To receive examination related information, students should visit NEET UG official website and platforms. PIB urged users to not to share any unverified claims in the digital spaces.
