New Delhi: Following a controversy surrounding allegations of a paper leak in the UGC-NET June 2026 examination, the government has ordered an investigation, according to sources. Just weeks after the NEET-UG exam controversy, claims of a leaked UGC-NET June 2026 Sociology exam paper have surfaced. Reports circulating on social media allege that a 100-page PDF was circulated before the exam, containing approximately 90 questions that matched the actual exam question paper.

Was the paper being sold for Rs 2.25 lakh?

Reports also claim that this alleged question paper was being sold in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, and Rajasthan for approximately Rs 2.25 lakh. Following the incident, the Ministry of Education directed the National Testing Agency (NTA) to investigate the allegations, according to sources. Sources indicate that the ministry has ordered a detailed investigation into the matter. However, an official statement from the NTA has not yet been released.
