New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the results for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Preliminary Exam 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam on May 25, 2026, can now check their qualifying status.

How to download the roll number-wise list PDF?

• Go to the official UPSC website: upsc.gov.in
• Look at the "What's New" section on the homepage.
• Click on the link titled "Result: Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2026".
• A PDF file containing the roll numbers of the qualified candidates will open on your screen.
• Press Ctrl + F (or use the search icon on mobile) and type your Roll Number to check your result.

How to download and save the PDF for future reference?

• Click on the 'Download' tab on the screen.
• Or Click to the three dot at the right hand of screen (PC/Desktop), click to 'Print' and save into files or storage.
• Also take the hard copy of it.

Note: The commission has also uploaded the final answer keys alongside the roll-number list. Successful candidates will now have to prepare for the Civil Services (Main) Examination.
