Entertainment News: Shanaya Kapoor is all set to make her debut in Bollywood. The debutant talked about criticism and dealing with public opinion, which she feels is very important. Shanaya said that it is her duty to listen to the public's opinion on her work. The actor also said that she is waiting for the audience's approval and wants to earn her place through honest decisions and hard work.
In an interview with Zoom, the actor said, "I think it’s (criticism) very important. As an actor, I’ve always thought it’s my responsibility to listen to what the audience has to say. It’s the least I can do because I have the opportunity to stand in front of the camera and perform for them. I am waiting for their approval. I am here to earn my place here through honest decisions and hard work, and I will only earn it if they accept me."
She added, “If I don’t listen to them, hear them out, and read their remarks, it’s unfair, but it’s part of what I’ve chosen to do. So I take it positively. Yes, there is criticism, which I have dealt with throughout the years. And I simply took it very positively. I’ve taken it as feedback and used it to help me improve as a person and actor, particularly.”
Shanaya said that she values the feedback given by the fans. She feels that it is important for her. “I truly value their feedback and approval on my work. So I’m always reading, or at least reading articles. I’m always reading comments, even if there are other pages with pap photographs. I am seeing everything. I believe it is really important for me to do that,” said the actor.
Her upcoming movie, 'Aankhon ki Gustakhiyan,' will be released on July 11. The actor will be seen alongside Vikrant Massey, who will play Shanaya's love interest. The movie has been produced by Mansi Bagla and Varun Bagla. Directed by Santosh Singh, the music is given by Vishal Mishra.
