Aamir Khan Confirms Wedding With Gauri Spratt On July 5, Says 'We Are Ready'

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has confirmed the reports of his third marriage with his long-time partner Gauri Spratt in an intimate ceremony, which will take place on July 5, with only their family members and close friends. 

Did Aamir Khan really confirm?

While speaking to Variety, Aamir Khan said that, "I'm currently traveling in the US. The news about the marriage is true. It’s on July 5."

The announcement of the marriage comes just months after Aamir Khan officially introduced Gauri Spratt as his partner. 

The 61-year-old actor confirmed that he will marry his girlfriend Gauri Spratt next month, July 5. Aamir is currently in the United States. 

“Yes, that is true. But now we both feel we are ready to take our relationship to the next level,” he said. 

While talking about their bond, Aamir added, “I am at peace. Gauri and I are serious about each other and we are in a very committed space. We are partners, we are together. In my heart, I’m already married to her. So, to formalize our togetherness just seems like a natural progression of our partnership.”

Whn will the ceremony happen?

The ceremony is expected to take place on July 5 at his home in a simple and low-key way, rather than opting for a lavish celebration. The private ceremony is going to be attended by their immediate family members. Also, as per reports, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan may attend the ceremony according to their availability.

When did their relationship start?

Aamir Khan first introduced Gauri officially on his 60th birthday and revealed they had known each other for over two decades before beginning their relationship. During his interviews, Aamir Khan had also revealed that he already considers himself emotionally and mentally committed to Gauri by stating his peace with her, saying 'Ab jaake Main Mukammal Hua'.

Aamir and Gauri have also been living with each other happily for the past few months in an apartment building a stable life.

What about the couples past relationship?

Gauri Spratt, who was previously associated with Aamir Khan Productions, has a seven-year-old son, Quinn, from her previous marriage, while Aamir Khan was married twice before this relationship with Reena Dutta, with whom he shares two children, Junaid and Ira. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao, and the former couple has a son, Azad. Aamir and Kiran announced their separation in 2021.
