Bishnoi gang fires at restaurant next to Kapil Sharma's Kap's cafe in Canada; Issues threat 'fall in line'

Mumbai: The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for a firing incident at a cafe in Canada on Saturday. In a social media post, the gang warned the comedian-actor and cafe owner, Kapil Sharma, who owns the adjacent outlet, Kap's Cafe,  to fall in line.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the shooting at a cafe in Canada early Saturday morning. 

In a post on social media, the gang claimed responsibility for the attack and threatened the cafe owner Kapil Sharma.

The post is reportedly linked to a Facebook account named "Tyson Bishnoi Zora Sidhu," that claimed responsibility for the shooting at the 'Chai Sutta Bar' cafe located in Surrey, British Columbia. This cafe is situated next to Kapil Sharma's 'Kaps Cafe'.

What is there in the post?

The post directly addresses Kapil Sharma, warning him to 'get in line' and not waste the group's time, otherwise the same thing will happen to him what happened to the targeted cafe.

Is this the first attack?

The post also claimed that Kapil Sharma's cafe has been fired upon twice in the year 2025. The gang warned that if Sharma doesn't comply with their demands, his Canadian business, Kaps Cafe and Mumbai residence will be targeted.

The gang also stated that this time no recommendation or mediation would be effective. The post also included several gang-related names and hashtags at the end. However, the police or other investigating agencies have not yet officially confirmed the authenticity of the post or its direct connection to the gang.

Kapil Sharma's Kap's Cafe in Surrey, Canada, has faced three targeted shootings last year by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, raising serious concerns about organised crime, extortion, and transnational gang violence. 

Kapil Sharma's cafe in Canada has been targeted since 2025. The first shooting occurred on July 10, 2025, just days after the opening of Kap's Cafe in Surrey, British Columbia, when shots were fired at the cafe and surrounding buildings, though no one was injured.
