Mumbai: Bollywod blockbuster 'Dhurandhar' has created a sensation at the box office. This film has surpassed all other films released in Hindi.
'Dhurandhar' has now become the highest-grossing Hindi film. The makers themselves announced this by sharing a post on social media.
On Wednesday, the film's production house, Jio Studios, shared a poster on social media. The poster declared 'Dhurandhar' as 'India's highest-grossing Hindi film'. Sharing the poster, the makers wrote, "Thank you India. Ganpati Bappa Morya."
The makers claim that 'Pushpa 2' collected Rs 831 crore (net) from the Indian box office in 33 days. Furthermore, they claim this film has surpassed the pan-India film 'Pushpa 2', which was released in 2024. Notably, the Hindi version of 'Pushpa 2' earned Rs 821 crore. However, trade sources say that 'Dhurandhar' had earned Rs 782 crore till Tuesday and still needs to earn Rs 40 crore to surpass 'Pushpa 2'.
'Dhurandhar' has set a new record for the highest collection in a single language. If we talk about the top 4 highest-grossing films in Hindi, then at number 1 is 'Dhurandhar' (Rs 831 crore), at number 2 is 'Pushpa 2' (Rs 821 crore), at number 3 is 'Chhava' (Rs 601 crore) and at number 4 is Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' (Rs 586 crore).
