Udaipur: Newlywed couple Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, who tied the knot in Udaipur on Thursday in the presence of the close friends and family, are now preparing a wedding reception on March 4 in Hyderabad. The couple on Friday made their first public appearance as Mr and Mrs at Udaipur airport, and the post-wedding glow and smile was nothing but heartwarming.

After 'The Wedding of Virosh', the couple shared their dreamy pictures as bride and groom on Thursday evening.

Which designer did Rashmika chose for her dreamy wedding?

Rashmika chose her classic and beautiful outfit by the designer Anamika Khanna for the Telegu wedding. The actress draped a rich rust saree with striking red border in a pure goddess way. The saree featured intricate temple-house motifs embroidered across the drape, inspired by carved sanctums and spiritual geometry found in Hyderabad’s historic architecture.

According to the designer, the motifs were designed to echo spaces and reflect devotion through textile artistry.

Describing the saree, designer said that it was imagined as a canvas of devotion, regal yet graceful, embodying feminine strength rooted firmly in tradition.

Who designed Rashmika's jewellery?

Rashmika's statement and traditional jewellery was crafted by Shree Jewellers. The new bride layered the temple-style necklaces, including a close-fitting choker and long harams, creating a sense of opulence.

On of one of the standout pieces was the gold jewels running through her braid, which is known as Jada Billa, that is a very classic South Indian bridal detail.

The actress also wore shoulder jewellery to complement her rust red saree.

And off course the long jhumkas, maang tikka, and the nose ring elevated her whole look. But wait the look cannot be complete without bangles, the actress chose stacks of gold bangles that completed her goddess look.

Rashmika opted for light and soft makeup, with defined eyeliner accentuating her eyes and small red bindi, which complimented her whole classic look. Her hair was neatly parted at the centre and styled traditionally, allowing the jewellery to take the centre stage.

Who styled Vijay?

Vijay also wore custom Anamika Khanna looks for the wedding ceremony. While Rashmika looked like a goddess in rust saree, Vijay, who did not dress like a regular groom, wore an ivory dhoti silhouette paired with a striking vermillion angavastram.

Usually where bride steals the show, Vijay showed that even grooms can make a statement.

Describing his outfit, the designer said that the temple inspired motifs were chosen to represent continuity, cultural pride, and a deep connection to heritage.

Did Vijay also chose heavy jewelries?

To elevate his look, Vijay wore two heavy gold necklaces, one is a Kasu mala with coin designs, and the other is a long haram.

To make his look more powerful and stand out, the actor styled a temple wrist jewellery around his wrist and also wore a broad hold belt around his waist, it is also known as an Oddiyanam that holds the dhoti in place.

Breaking the gender norms, Vijay opted for gold earrings, which is called Kadukkan and the anklet he wore is called Kolusu.

Is it kala teeka or Drishti pottu?

One thing that catch the fans attention was a small black dot in the couples cheek. In south it is known as kala teeka or drishti pottu, which is a common practice in Telugu.

The meaning of the tiny black dot is believed to protect and guard the couple against the evil eye and negative energies.
