After the huge success of Season 4, the makers of the hit web series Panchayat have confirmed that a fifth season is on its way. The announcement was made by Prime Video and The Viral Fever (TVF) on Monday, exciting fans across the globe.

The official update came through Prime Video’s Instagram page, where a poster for Season 5 was shared. The post included the caption, “Hi 5! Phulera wapas aane ki taiyyaari shuru kar lijiye.” The poster showed the main characters smiling, hinting that the next season will continue to blend humor, heart, and village politics. After Season 4’s release on June 24, which broke several viewership records, this news comes as no surprise.

Massive Global Reach for Season 4

Manish Menghani, Director & Head of Content Licensing at Prime Video India, shared that Season 4 received incredible response both in India and internationally. He noted that the show’s appeal lies in its honest storytelling and simple yet powerful characters. “Panchayat has become a global success. The warm response from more than 180 countries shows how much viewers relate to it,” Menghani said.

Season 4 featured a popular cast including Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, and Faisal Malik.
