Smriti Mandhana-Palash Muchhal Viral Family Meet-Up Video Sparks Patch-Up Rumours

Mumbai: Rumours of a patch-up between Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal are gaining momentum. The reason behind this is a viral video. Recently, a video is doing rounds on the internet, in which Smriti’s father was seen meeting Palash’s sister, Palak Muchhal and her husband, Mithoon.

Where did the family meet?

In the viral video, Palash's sister, Palak Muchhal and her husband, Mithoon, can be seen touching feet of Smriti’s father, Shrinivas Mandhana at a Mumbai restaurant. 

In this viral clip, Smriti Mandhana's father Srinivas Mandhana can be with Palash's sister Palak Muchhal and her husband musician Mithun. In this, Smriti's father and Palak are seen outside a restaurant in Mumbai. Palak touches his feet. He blesses the singer and leaves.

Has the family said anything about reunion?

Neither Smriti nor Palash family has issued any statement regarding their alleged reunion or the viral video as of now.

Why are fans confused?

After the video surfaced, people are reacting to it with varying reactions. Many users are claiming it's old, while others are speculating about Smriti and Palash getting back together after watching it. While the video's original date hasn't been confirmed, it has been making headlines ever since it surfaced.

Why did couple not proceed with marriage?

Palash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana were scheduled to marry on November 23, 2025 but the ceremony was postponed after Smriti’s father, Shriniwas Mandhana, was hospitalised due to a heart ailment. 

However, on December 7, Smriti taking to Instagram confirmed that her wedding with Palash Muchhal had been called off. 

Later after Smriti's announcement, Palash also issued an public statement, saying, "I have decided to move on in my life and step back from my personal relationship. It’s been very difficult for me to see people react so easily on baseless rumours about something which has been most sacred to me. It’s the most difficult phase of my life, and I will deal with it gracefully, holding on to my beliefs."

Did Palash cheat on Smriti? 

Later, Smriti’s friend Vidnyan Mane, who claimed to be present at the wedding functions, made many serious allegations. According to Mane, Palash cheated Smriti and was caught red-handed with another woman in bed.
