Entertainment News: The name of late actress Sridevi was initially in discussion for the role of Shivgami in Rajamouli's blockbuster film Bahubali. However, Ramya Krishnan finally got this role. At that time there were reports that Sridevi turned down the film because some of her demands were not met. But now Sridevi's husband and well-known film producer Boney Kapoor has completely denied this news and made a big revelation on this matter.

Boney Kapoor says that the producers of the film created a misunderstanding between Sridevi and Rajamouli, due to which she could not do this film. He also alleged that the producers deliberately offered less money and later tried to prove that by spreading wrong things that Sridevi left the film because she was 'unprofessional.'

Boney Kapoor revealed the secret

Boney Kapoor, while talking in the latest episode of the YouTube show Game Changers, said, "Rajamouli and Sridevi met at our house. After the conversation, Rajamouli sent a message to me, in which he wrote that he was already a big fan of Sridevi, but his honor increased manifold after that conversation. He said all this because Sridevi had given him many important suggestions."

Bonnie further said, "After Rajamouli exited the room, the producers offered Sridevi less than the fee that she had received for English Vinglish. Sridevi was not struggling in the industry at that time, but her name and stardom in film could benefit both the Hindi and Tamil markets.

Serious allegations on producers

Boney Kapoor further said that Rajamouli was not told the whole truth. "The producers misled Rajamouli. Later he made a wrong statement in the media that Sridevi had some demands and she left the film. It is all a lie. The real reason was that the producers were not ready to give that amount." Bonnie, especially taking the name of the film's producer Shobu Yarlagadda, said,

"Shobu is the person who did all this. He put the wrong things in front of Rajamouli. She dared to say that Sridevi was unprofessional. While such big directors as Rakesh Roshan, Yash Chopra, and Raghavendra Rao have worked with her again and again. If she were unprofessional, why would such a big filmmaker work with her?

Sridevi's death and Bahubali's success

Significantly, Sridevi died on 24 February 2018 in Dubai, when she went to attend a family wedding. His sudden death at the age of just 54 had shocked the film industry and his millions of fans in deep shock. At the same time, Bahubali was a mega film made in two parts, whose story was based on the imaginary state of Mahishmati. In the film, Prabhas played Amarendra Bahubali and his son, Mahendra. The film proved to be a superhit after its release and grossed over Rs 600 crore. The character of Shivgami, played by Ramya Krishnan in Bahubali, is still in the hearts of the audience.
