The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 5 Promo Out, Drishyam: The Conclusion Cast Joins Kapil

New Delhi: Comedian Kapil Sharma is once again returning to the audience with the new season of his popular show The Great Indian Kapil Show. Netflix has released the first promo of season 5. Ajay Devgan, Shriya Saran and Jaideep Ahlawat are seen in it. These actors have reached the show to promote their upcoming film 'Drishyam: The Conclusion'. The promo shows a glimpse of laughter, joking and questions and answers between Kapil and the guests. The special thing is that the show is returning at a time when the third film of 'Drishyam' franchise is also ready for release. 

When and what time will the Great Indian Kapil Show start?

The first episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 5 will stream on September 26 at 8 pm on Netflix. After this, a new episode will be shown to the audience every Saturday at 8 pm. The show is returning after a gap of about six months. This time Netflix has introduced the season with the theme ‘Hasi Ka Tyo-haha-har’, which is linked to the upcoming festive season. 

Who will be seen in the first episode?

The first episode has been named after the starcast of 'Drishyam: The Conclusion'. Along with Ajay Devgan and Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat, Ishita Dutta and Mrinal Jadhav will also be seen in the show. The film's director Abhishek Pathak will also be seen interacting with Kapil. That is, in the initial episode, there will be a dash of comedy along with the story of the film, the cast and behind the scenes. 

Which old team is returning with Kapil?

The show's well-known comedy team is also returning with Kapil Sharma in the new season. Sunil Grover, Krishna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda will once again entertain the audience in their own style. Archana Puran Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu have also returned. According to Netflix, this season will also include newsmakers and personalities from different fields along with celebrity guests.

When will 'Drishyam: The Conclusion' release?

Ajay Devgan's film 'Drishyam: The Conclusion' will be released in theaters on October 2, 2026. In this, Ajay is once again playing the role of Vijay Salgaonkar. Shriya Saran will return to play the role of Nandini, while Tabu, Rajat Kapoor, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and other actors are also a part of the franchise. Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj are among the new cast. The film is directed by Abhishek Pathak and its story continues from the previous films. 

Will the show run during the festive season this time too?

Netflix has introduced Season 5 connecting with the festive atmosphere. According to the platform, the show will reach audiences in the coming months during festivals including Diwali and Christmas. The format of celebrity interaction, sketch, comedy, fun and informal interaction with the artistes will continue in the new season. ‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’ is being presented as the third and final installment of the Hindi franchise.
