‘Married her brother to gain citizenship’: Trump attacks Ilhan Omar

Donald Trump attacks Ilhan Omar: In a latest move, US President Donald Trump went after Democratic Rep Ilhan Omar, stating that she married her brother just to get her US citizenship. Reportedly, this statement of Trump came after the House refused to punish Omar over her comments on the Charlie Kirk assassination. 

Reportedly, Nancy Mace of South Carolina in her bold statement stated that Omar should be deported to Somalia, where she was born. Notably, she became a US citizen in 2000.

Responding to the allegations, Omar said Mace is forming a false narrative to raise money “and boost her run for Governor.”

And now, question her citizenship, Trump through his social media handle, wrote, ''“Does Ilhan Omar know these people? Are they from her wonderfully managed Home Country of Somalia?”

“Is this what civility looks like in the Republican-controlled House of Representatives?” Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries said in the same connection. 

“We live in an era of intense political violence as we have seen with the recent assassinations of Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk,” he further added, in connection to the shooting of lawmakers in Minnesota.

President Trump has once again raised question against Omar. In his social media post, he stated that she married her brother, and called her ‘SCUM’.
