International News: Russia launched another attack on Ukraine, firing more than 100 drones on Monday. With 11 people feared dead and 80 injured, the injured population also involves even children. The Russian army is trying its best to capture some locations on the 1000 km long war front, which also involves the presence of the Ukrainian forces. Since there has not been a significant step ahead in the peace talks with Russia and increasing tension to stop Russia's invasion, the Ukrainians are forced to seek more military assistance from Europe and the US.
With civilian areas targeted, Russia has fired more than 100 drones that killed 11 people and injured 80, including seven children as well. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has also said that Russia fired around 1270 drones, 39 missiles, and about 1000 powerful glide bombs in civilian areas of Ukraine.
Roman Starovoyt, transport chief of Russia, was sacked after presidential orders. The official has served as Russia's transport minister since May 2024. This happened because of the travel chaos that occurred during the weekend, leading to hundreds of flights canceled due to the threat of Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian airports. The ex-transport chief was found dead after getting sacked. The officials have confirmed it to be a suicide.
The constant drone attacks over Ukraine have resulted in the end of many innocent lives. With already 11 dead and 80 injured, the country might face more losses. Also, the Russian army is making constant efforts to intrude and capture some locations in the 1000 km long war front, where the Ukrainian forces are also present.
