As per reports, clashes between protesters and police was witnessed in Paris. Reportedly, protesters have closed the roads of Paris and violence started at many places in the country. In order to control the situation, police has fired tear gas shells and taken more than 200 people into custody.
The protesters had demanded to shut down everything in Paris. However, according to French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau, the protesters have failed in their intentions. This protest first started on social media, after which a gathering of protesters took place in Paris. In such a situation, more than 80,000 policemen were deployed in Paris. The police immediately arrested the protesters who broke the barricades.
Reportedly, amid the growing unrest situation, protesters set a bus on fire in the western part of the French city of Rennes. The situation is worsening in France as power outage in the area and train traffic was also disrupted. He stated that protesters want to create atmosphere of rebellion in France.
The situation in Paris disrupted at more than 30 places. Ahead of the violence, a 'block everything' movement was launched on social media. In fact, French Prime Minister Bayrou had also shared a plan to save 44 billion euros (about Rs 4 lakh crore) in the budget, for which he was heavily criticized and he had to lose his power.
