This February, a video went viral featuring a woman who is a doctor by profession. She disclosed that within a few months of her marriage, she realized her in-laws had bought a luxurious house, an SUV, a swimming pool, and other expensive possessions with the money earned from begging. In other words, she had married into a family of affluent beggars.
The most important thing is that there are two types of beggars in Pakistan. One is those who somehow make their living by begging there. While the other beggars there are those who have big dreams. These beggars leave Pakistan and move to other countries to beg. There, they earn significant amounts of money through begging. It's all based on a structured business model.
Just as marketing demands specific skills, many in Pakistan have turned begging into a profession, mastering it with similar expertise." Just like companies make special strategies to sell their goods to customers, similarly, beggars wear special dresses and look different, so that they can attract the attention of the people in front of them and touch their emotions.
Recently, Pakistan's Home Ministry said that the maximum number of beggars, 4,498, have been sent back from Saudi Arabia. Now that all this has come to light, the question arises that how will Pakistan react to the statement of India's Defense Minister, in which he said that wherever Pakistan stands, the line of beggars starts from there.
