Britain: Hundreds of Sikhs storm London building, rescue teenager from Pakistani gang

London: Hundreds of Sikhs stormed a building in London after a teenaged girl from the community was allegedly gangraped by a gang of Pakistani Muslims. The incident reportedy took place in Hounslow, which is suburb of West London.

What do we know about the incident?

A 16-year-old Sikh girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by a Pakistani grooming gang. The victim was reportedly forcibly confined inside the building and was allegedly gangraped by at least Pakistanis.

After receiving information about the crime, a crowd gathered in front of the building and at least 200 Sikhs stormed the premises and rescued the girl from the criminals. According to reports, this incident occurred in West London. The suspect was taken into police custody, and the girl has returned to her family.

Who is the prime accused?

According to a report by the Sikh Press Association, the accused is a 40-year-old Pakistani man. He lives in the Hounslow area of West London and is known for luring underage girls. He befriends young girls under false pretenses and then rapes them. Dozens of people traveling to London from Pakistan have been arrested in these cases so far. British politicians allege that Pakistani Muslims have deliberately formed grooming gangs to trap white women in Britain. Former British Home Secretary Priti Patel has publicly spoken out against these Pakistani grooming gangs. Elon Musk also criticized the British government for not taking strict action against grooming gangs.

What has the Sikh community said about the Pakistani grooming gangs?

The Sikh Press Association said that Pakistani grooming gangs deliberately target girls of other religions. This incident in Hounslow gained attention after the video went viral on social media. Hours of protests were held to apprehend the accused, and then police were seen taking him away in a van. 

On December 20, AK Media 47, a Sikh community group, posted this video on Instagram. In it, Sikh community leader Jassa Singh is seen exposing the grooming gang. The accused's neighbor reported that he had a vulgar relationship with a young girl, calling him a "dirty man." The neighbor also said she saw the accused with another girl, who is about 12 years old.

According to the Sikh Press Association, when the girl turned 16, she was coaxed out of her family's home using common grooming tactics. Police have so far been unable to assist, as the accused exploited legal loopholes. Following this, the Sikh community stormed the flat to rescue their daughter. It says that there are approximately 20 secondary schools in Hounslow, where thousands of children pass by the alleged groomer's home every day.
