Just last week, on August 9, another shooting took place in Brooklyn at around 1:30 am, when a man opened fire after a minor dispute. That attack left three people injured, including an elderly person and a teenager. Police later arrested the accused and seized his weapon.

Sunday’s attack, however, has proven deadlier, prompting local leaders to call for tighter security and stricter enforcement at clubs and bars operating late into the night.
