Recently, a parade that started from Malton Gurudwara in Toronto has worried the Hindu community living in Canada.

A video has emerged from Toronto's famous Malton Gurudwara in which slogans were openly raised against Hindus and a demand was made to send 800,000 Hindus back to India. This video was shared on social media by Canadian journalist Daniel Boardman and raised serious questions whether Canada's new Prime Minister Mark Carney will ignore Khalistani activities like Trudeau or take strict action.

Boardman said that both Khalistanis and Jihadis are now damaging the social fabric of Canada. He alleged that these groups are not only threatening Jews, but are now openly targeting Hindus as well. Earlier in April, the Lakshmi Narayan temple in Surrey, British Columbia was vandalized for the third time. Boardman said that pro-Khalistan graffiti was made on the walls of the temple and CCTV cameras were also stolen. The removal and cleaning of graffiti by the temple management before the arrival of the police is also under suspicion.

Why is there silence?

So far, no concrete statement has come from the Canadian government on this entire matter. In such a situation, the question arises whether providing security to minority communities is no longer the government's priority? A big question has arisen before the Hindus living in Canada—are they safe there?
