International News: In the last two weeks, tremendous citizen unrest in China has been born, which has especially increased from the end of April 2025. This disturbance is due to the fees levied by US President Donald Trump, which are affecting factory and construction workers. These protests have created a stir in industrial areas from Shanghai to Inner Mongolia. Due to this economic crisis, there is a huge decline in the prisoners of factories, defaults in salary payment and a drastic decline in export orders.
Workers' anger in China is increasing as the economic crisis generated by US charges has severely affected the export-based economy. Many factories have been closed and workers' salaries are not being paid. Thousands of workers demonstrated for salary pending since January at an LED light factory located near Shanghai. A similar situation happened in a sports goods company in Dow County, where employees were fired from work without payment.
The anger of the protesters has increased so much that construction workers in Tongliao city climbed the roofs of buildings and threatened to commit suicide, while other workers also demonstrated near Shanghai. Amid this protest, China's Ministry of Commerce is planning to start a negotiation on the US initiative on this crisis. The ministry said on Friday that the US has sent messages several times to start a fee talks with China. The ministry says that no dialogue is possible without 'American honesty, concrete action and removal of unilateral charges'.
Chinese officials warned that the effort of "inconsistent behavior" would only weaken confidence. The administration has clearly stated that it is not ready to interact under pressure. President Trump has suspended fees against many countries, such as India and the European Union, but has maintained special charges on China, making Beijing further isolated.
This growing labor disturbance clearly shows how deeply long trading conflicts can have a profound impact. China's export crisis has deepened so much that it has reached a lockdown in Kovid-19. Although China imposes retaliation to promote trade war, it is the only country that is currently facing American business punishments.
This situation is an indication that business conflicts will end only when there will be real and concrete dialogue between the two countries. However, at the moment the way for this dialogue is not clear, as there is a lack of trust between the two countries.
