Washington: US President Donald Trump claimed on Thursday (local time) that the ongoing conflict with Iran will not last much longer and is likely to end soon. However, he reiterated that America will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons at any cost.

While talking to reporters in the Oval Office of the White House, Trump said that given the current situation, Iran is not in a position to continue the war for a long time. He expressed hope that after the conflict ends, the situation in the area will start becoming normal.
