UAE: Hamam Al-Hamami, the Omani co-pilot who attacked Indian-origin Captain Smit Machchhar on the Flydubai flight going from Dubai to Tel Aviv, has reportedly made a big revelation during interrogation. According to a The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) report, Hamami told Saudi authorities that he wanted to crash the plane in Israel and was not afraid of his death.

During interrogation, Hamami reportedly admitted that his intention was to bring down the plane in Israel, according to the report. According to his statement given to Saudi authorities, he was not even afraid of death. UAE officials have also described the incident as a possible terrorist act.
