International News: While ordinary people in Gaza are struggling to get even two meals a day, Israel has accused Hamas fighters of living in luxury amid the crisis. According to Israel’s Foreign Ministry, while the general population is suffering from hunger and malnutrition, Hamas fighters are leading comfortable lives.

Shocking Picture of Israeli Hostage

Recently, Israel shared a post on X (formerly Twitter), showing a disturbing image of an Israeli hostage named Evyatar David. His body appears extremely thin, almost skeletal. In the same image, the strong and well-built hand of a Hamas fighter can also be seen. Israel used this contrast to question, “Who is truly starving in Gaza?”

Videos Show Harsh Conditions

Israel also posted a video of Evyatar David, where he is seen digging a pit, calling it his own grave. In another photo, he is writing something on a wall, while Hamas fighters sit nearby, eating comfortably. These visuals were meant to show the difference between the suffering of hostages and the lifestyle of the militants.

Background of the Conflict

Hamas took full control of Gaza in 2007. Since then, conflict with Israel has continued. In October 2023, Hamas launched a deadly attack in southern Israel, killing more than 1,200 people and taking around 250 hostages. In response, Israel blocked all aid to Gaza, leading to severe shortages of food, water, and medicine for civilians.

Two Sides of Gaza: People vs. Militants

Israel claims that while innocent civilians are facing hunger and poor living conditions, Hamas fighters have access to food and resources. The Israeli ministry said that even during the ongoing war, these fighters are getting enough supplies and enjoying a better life than the people they claim to represent.

Global Reactions and Concerns

The worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza has drawn global attention. Several international organizations have appealed for urgent humanitarian aid. However, Israel has remained firm on its stance, warning that allowing aid might help Hamas rather than the people. Israel says such support could be misused for terrorist activities.
