International News: Pakistan is fast emerging as a new base for Hamas. Beyond Gaza, its operations are spreading widely. In the past two years, Pakistan has become a safe shelter for Hamas fighters. The United States officially designates Hamas as a terrorist group, while Pakistan remains a key non-NATO ally. This situation questions Islamabad’s reliability in the global fight against terror. What worries India most is Hamas openly speaking about Kashmir. The threat has made New Delhi extremely alert.

Washington expresses strong anger

The presence of Hamas leaders in Pakistan has angered Washington. U.S. officials fear their ally is turning into a platform for terrorists. This weakens Pakistan’s credibility worldwide. Washington views this as a direct threat to global security. Diplomatic tensions between the U.S. and Pakistan may rise further.

Role of Naji Zaheer grows

Reports identify Naji Zaheer as Hamas’s special representative in Pakistan. Since the October 2023 Israel attack, his activities have sharply increased. He has shared platforms with Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. Zaheer even addressed pro-Palestinian rallies in Peshawar. Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal joined one rally through a video link.

Influence spreads to politics

Zaheer has penetrated Pakistan’s Islamic political space. He appeared at events of Maulana Fazlur Rehman. He also spoke at rallies of the political wing of Lashkar-e-Taiba, the Markazi Muslim League. His activities now extend into universities and civil society. This has deeply strengthened Hamas’s ideological base inside Pakistan.

Kashmir emerges as key target

Hamas envoy in Iran, Khaled Qaddoumi, has also become active in Pakistan. On February 5, 2025, during Kashmir Solidarity Day, Hamas leaders joined Pakistani political and military figures. Leaders of Lashkar and Jaish also attended the rally. Open threats were made against India at the event.

Big announcement in PoK

A major conference in Rawalakot, PoK, declared that Kashmiri and Palestinian militants are now united. Experts warn PoK could soon become a sanctuary for Hamas. This announcement shocked security agencies in India. Analysts believe Pakistan is paving dangerous ground for Hamas. Regional stability is at risk.

India faces rising threats

Hamas, weakened in Gaza, finding ground in Pakistan, is alarming for India. The Kashmir threat is no longer just rhetoric. Terror groups are planning deeper alliances. Pakistan’s soil turning into a Hamas hub is a matter of serious concern. India now faces a more complex security challenge.
