America expressed gratitude to India

Jallejad, a former US ambassador and permanent representative in the United Nations, expressed his reaction on social media, saying, "India killed Abdul Rauf Azhar during military action against Pakistan. It was the same man who killed American journalist Daniel Pearl in 2002. It is justice, Thank you." Khalilajad described it as an important turn of justice and gave strong support to India's action.

Abdul Rauf Azhar was associated with Daniel Pearl murder case

In 2002, Daniel Pearl, senior journalist at Wall Street Journal in Pakistan, was murdered, which was a major setback for the whole world. Abdul Rauf Azhar, who was the brother of Masood Azhar and known as the major operational mastermind of Jaish-e-Mohammed, was the main accused in the notorious murder. American agencies had been looking for him for a long time. Now after his death, Daniel Pearl's family and the US government have accepted it as a major relief.

US diplomat thanked Prime Minister Modi

US Senior Diplomat Elli Kohanim also thanked India for the death of Abdul Rauf Azhar. Tagging the Prime Minister's Office (PMO India), he wrote, "We had been waiting for justice for Daniel Pearl for a long time. He was brutally murdered. I personally thank the Government of India."
