Tehran: The ongoing conflict between America, Israel and Iran in the Middle East now seems to be reaching a dangerous turn. The scope of this military conflict, which has been going on for about a month, is continuously increasing and now new parties have also started openly joining it. In the latest development, Iran-backed Houthi rebels have directly indicated their involvement in the war by launching missile attacks on southern Israel, further deepening tensions in the entire region.
After the activation of Houthi rebels, the conflict is not limited to Israel and Iran only, but its impact has now reached the sea routes. The threat has increased especially on important trade routes like Bab-el-Mandeb and the Strait of Hormuz, through which a large part of the world's oil is transported. In such a situation, signs of crisis in global energy supply are also visible.
Iran has claimed that it attacked two secret US military bases in Dubai with missiles and drones, killing hundreds of soldiers. Apart from this, there has also been talk of shooting down American fighter planes and targeting American naval ships in the Persian Gulf. However, America has completely rejected all these claims and called them misleading and has said that all its soldiers are safe.
The situation has become more sensitive due to Israel's repeated attacks on Iran's Bushehr nuclear center. This center has been attacked for the third time within ten days. Although no radiation threat has been confirmed yet, the targeting of nuclear sites has raised international concern.
The increasing threat to the Red Sea and Arabian Sea routes may affect global trade. Due to the activity of Houthi rebels, apprehensions regarding the safety of ships have increased. Experts believe that if this situation continues for a long time, there may be a rise in oil prices and disruption in the supply chain.
Iran has also expressed skepticism over recent diplomatic efforts. It says that America's attitude is not trustworthy and on one hand it talks about talks, on the other hand it increases military pressure. Whereas countries like Turkey are continuously insisting on finding a solution through dialogue, the situation on the ground seems to be the opposite.
The impact of this war has now spread to Lebanon, Iraq, Kuwait and Bahrain. Missile and drone attacks have taken place at many places, causing loss of life and property. There were reports of hospital closures in Lebanon, while an airport radar system in Kuwait was damaged. The security situation in Iraq also seems to be deteriorating due to the attacks.
The impact of this increasing conflict is clearly visible on the common people also. Five Indian citizens were injured after missile debris fell in UAE. Apart from this, reports of civilian casualties and damage to infrastructure are continuously emerging in various areas, which shows the seriousness of this war.
The possibility of a ground operation is also being expressed due to America deploying its military troops close to Iran. If this happens then this conflict can take an even more widespread and destructive form. At present the situation is changing rapidly and the eyes of the world are fixed on this region.
