Israel: There was panic in the Niyot Hovav industrial area located in Israel's Negev desert when fragments of a missile fired from Iran fell near an industrial facility. After this incident, a massive fire broke out in the area and the situation became extremely sensitive due to poisonous chemicals. Fire brigades and relief teams immediately reached the spot and the entire area was evacuated.
According to preliminary information, missile debris fell on a pesticide tank, due to which the fire spread rapidly. The danger increased due to the chemicals present in the tank and the administration had to take immediate emergency steps.
After the incident, large plumes of black smoke were seen rising into the sky. Officials fear that the smoke may contain toxic elements, so people in the surrounding areas were instructed to be alert and maintain distance.
Immediately after the incident, employees working in nearby factories were evacuated and sent to safe places. The administration took this step as a precaution so that people can be protected from any kind of chemical danger.
Niyot Hovav is a large industrial hub, where more than 40 factories operate. Work related to environmental technology and industrial projects takes place here, so the impact of such an incident can be wide-ranging.
According to local officials, at least one person has been injured in the incident. However, due to the prompt action of relief and rescue teams, the situation was prevented from worsening.
The Israeli Army said that several missile attacks were carried out by Iran on Sunday. Some of these missiles were stopped midway, but such incidents came to light due to falling debris.
Police and security agencies are still investigating on the spot. Officials say the fire was caused by debris that fell during the missile's impact or interception. At present, it is being ensured that there is no threat to the common people.
