International News: Israel launches series of strikes on Yemen: The situation in the Middle East is constantly deteriorating. Since the Gaza war, Yemen's Houthi rebels have become active against Israel. In this episode, on Tuesday, Israel carried out more than 12 airstrikes on Yemen's Red Sea port Hudaida. Dozens of civilians are reported to have been killed in these attacks. Israel claims that this action is against the Houthis, but its biggest impact is on the common citizens.

The attacks on Tuesday were confirmed by Houthi-backed Al-Masirah TV. According to reports, Israel carried out 12 air strikes on the coastal city of Hudaydah. Before the attack, the Israeli army had warned that the port and the ships parked there should be evacuated immediately. Army spokesman Avichai Aderei wrote on the social media platform X, 'Immediately evacuate Hudaydah port and surrounding areas for your safety.'

Tension increased after Gaza war

Israel waged war on Gaza in October 2023, after which the Houthis started missile and drone attacks in support of Palestine. The Houthis also targeted ships in the Red Sea and directly Israeli bases. Recently, the Houthis carried out a drone attack on Ramon Airport in the city of Eilat, in which two people were injured and airport operations were halted for a few hours. In response, Israel is continuously attacking Yemen's ports, power plants and residential areas.

Huge impact on citizens

Yemeni citizens are bearing the brunt of these air strikes. Dozens of people lost their lives in Israeli attacks in the capital Sanaa and Al-Jawf Governorate on Wednesday. The next day Israel claimed that it intercepted a missile fired from Yemen. At the same time, Yemen's Houthi government has said that Israel is deliberately targeting civilians to destabilize the country.0

Attacks on Houthi leadership and warning of retaliation

Last month, Israel killed Houthi Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahwi in Sana'a. Almost half of his cabinet members were also killed in this attack. After this, the Houthis had warned of 'revenge'. Recently, the acting Prime Minister of the Houthis clearly said that their fight against Israel will continue and they will not retreat at any cost. This statement indicates that the conflict may intensify in the coming days.
