In a shocking escalation, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has authorized the Israeli Air Force to launch a strike on Iran at any moment. With fighter jets and missile bases on high alert, this bold move signals a possible solo confrontation with Iran  without the direct support of the United States. The declaration has sent ripples across the Arab world, raising alarms about an all-out regional conflict.

U.S. silence raises questions

What’s equally alarming is the U.S. administration’s eerie silence. While Trump remains cautiously optimistic about reviving the nuclear deal through ongoing diplomatic rounds, Netanyahu has made it clear that Israel is no longer interested in waiting. With the U.S. on the sidelines, speculation is growing: is Washington quietly backing Israel, or is it losing influence in the Middle East altogether?

Israel’s solo battle plan unfolds

Despite lacking overt U.S. support, Israel appears determined to move forward. Military analysts suggest Israel's air force is fully prepared for a precision strike targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities and military assets. Netanyahu has openly framed this conflict not just as a defense measure, but as a war of morality of good versus evil targeting Iran and its regional proxy militias in Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza.

Proxy war or full-blown regional conflict?

The looming threat of war isn’t limited to Iran alone. Israel's broader strategy includes a complete dismantling of Iran-backed proxy groups operating across the region. Daily air raids in Gaza and skirmishes in the West Bank are being seen as rehearsals for a much larger military campaign. With Iran promising retaliation under "Operation True Promise 3.0", the countdown to chaos seems to have begun.

America’s hidden hand?

Some experts argue that the U.S. might still be playing a double game keeping peace negotiations alive publicly while covertly allowing Israel to carry out its mission. This strategy could lead to a regime change in Tehran or at least cripple its military infrastructure. However, the risks are enormous. Iran is no longer under America’s thumb, and Netanyahu’s aggressive stance may tip the entire region into unpredictable and violent territory.
