Israel: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is going to meet US President Donald Trump on December 29 this month. In this meeting, Netanyahu can talk in detail on Israel's concerns regarding Iran. According to media reports, he will give information to Trump about Iran's ballistic missile program and explain why strict measures are necessary regarding it.
Israeli officials believe that Iran is rapidly increasing the production of its ballistic missiles. For this reason, Israel is preparing to put this issue before the US president. According to officials, this matter is not only related to Israel but also to the security of the entire region.
This whole matter has come to light at a time when there has been tension and military clashes between Israel and Iran for about two weeks this year. During that time, there was talk of damage to Iran's missile infrastructure due to Israel's action.
Israel also fears that Iran is trying to restore nuclear bases that were damaged during the US strikes in June. Apart from this, concerns are also being raised regarding the repair and reconstruction of Iran's air defense system.
According to sources, Netanyahu may tell Trump that Iran's activities are a threat not only to Israel but also to America's interests and the entire Middle East. He may also discuss America's role or cooperation options in the event of possible military action.
White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly said both the International Atomic Energy Agency and the Iranian government confirmed the US assessment that the earlier action had completely destroyed Iran's nuclear capabilities.
He also said that President Trump has already made it clear that if Iran tries to make nuclear weapons again, immediate action will be taken against that base, and it will not be allowed to succeed under any circumstances.
