International News: Pakistan has now clarified its position on the war that broke out between Israel and Iran in West Asia. Pakistan's Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Thursday saying that it has not received any request for military assistance from Iran so far. However, Pakistan has clearly stated that it supports Iran's right to self-defense and condemns Israeli attacks.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan stated during a press briefing, 'We extend our full moral support to Iran. Israel's action is a violation of international law and the United Nations Charter. This is not just a regional crisis but a threat to global stability."

Silence on Iranian refugees too

Pakistan shares a border of over 900 kilometers with Iran. In such a situation, the question also arose whether Pakistan will give shelter to Iranian citizens in case of war. On this, Khan said that till now no formal demand for any kind of refuge has been made to Pakistan from Tehran.

Solidarity of Islamic countries

Shafqat Ali Khan said that 21 Muslim countries have issued a joint statement condemning Israeli aggression and expressing solidarity with Iran. Pakistan is part of this common stance and is giving top priority to the unity of the Islamic world.

Internal concern: Pakistan scared of instability on the border

Although Pakistan has openly refused to join the war, it does not consider itself untouched by it. Pakistan fears that if instability increases in Iran, separatist and jihadist organizations may become active in Balochistan and border areas. Earlier also, the effect of foreign conflicts has been seen in these areas.

The Army Chief's meeting with Trump sparked widespread discussion

Meanwhile, the meeting between Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir and US President Donald Trump has created a stir. Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif described this meeting as "the success of the country's hybrid governance model," in which the army and the elected government are taking strategic decisions together.

He said that this meeting is giving Pakistan an opportunity to present a vocal and balanced view on the international platform. It also indicates that Pakistan wants to maintain its diplomatic balance between America and the Islamic world.

Pakistan's policy—support moral, steps strategic

While on one hand Pakistan appears to stand with Muslim unity, on the other hand it is adopting a balanced diplomacy, keeping in mind Western pressures and its internal security concerns. In the current situation, Pakistan's stance clearly shows that it is in favor of dialogue and stability, not war—but with vigilance on its borders.
