International News: Sunny California mornings are usually full of life and hope, but the morning of May 18 added a dark chapter to history. A sudden explosion at a fertility clinic in the city not only took the life of a young man, but also forced the whole of America to think. Will the symbols of science and motherhood also become victims of hatred?

A conspiracy born out of the womb of hatred

At exactly 11 am in the morning, an explosion reverberated outside a major IVF clinic in Palm Springs. It was not a gas leak or an electrical fault. It was a deliberately placed pipe bomb, behind which was 25-year-old Guy Edward Bartkus, who himself died in the blast.

The FBI investigation revealed that Bartkus was motivated by “anti-natalist” ideology,  a mental movement that believes that human birth itself is a mistake. And this was the reason why the place, which was the center of hope for birth, became a target.

The plan was to show the death live, but the technology failed

Bartkus' plan was to live stream the explosion. He had already posted aggressive blogs and announcements on social media. A few minutes before the blast, he activated the mobile camera  but the cloud uploading failed. The script of death had been written, but its broadcast remained incomplete.

The clinic was saved, but the walls of trust broke

Thankfully, the doctors and staff of the clinic were present in another part of the building and everyone is safe. But the mental trauma is deep. The place where people used to come with the dream of starting a new life, today there is debris and silence.

The force of the blast was so high that the windows of the surrounding buildings were shattered and there was chaos on the road.

FBI's big disclosure: This was a terrorist attack

FBI Assistant Director Akil Davis said in an official statement,"This was not a mental imbalance, this was a solid and planned terrorist attack. The IVF center was chosen thoughtfully. This is an ideological attack on science, motherhood and humanity."

The FBI is now also investigating whether Bartkus was associated with any radical group or he made this dreadful plan alone.

A seed of terror, which was sown on the land of life

This attack was not just on a building, it was an attack on the thought that says Every life matters. When life-giving institutions become the target of hatred, the question is not only of security, but also of the mental health of the society.
