Kyiv: The war between Russia and Ukraine has now reached a more dangerous turn. On Tuesday, Russia clearly said that it will continuously attack army bases and defense-related buildings in Kiev. The threat came after 18 people lost their lives and 42 were injured in a drone attack in Starobilsk. Russia says Ukraine has been increasing drone attacks in the last few months. Many Russian targets have been targeted. Moscow alleges that NATO members are helping Ukraine in these attacks. Now Russia has said that all the centers in Kiev where drones are made and operated from are its targets.
Russia has asked foreigners living in Kiev, leaders and those working in offices of other countries to leave the city quickly. Common people have also been warned to stay away from the army and government buildings. Russia made it clear that these places could be attacked in the next few days.
Ukraine also did not remain silent. It has greatly increased its power to fight drones. Reports suggest that Ukrainian drones have caused considerable damage to Russia's oil fields and army bases. President Zelensky himself admitted that Ukraine does not have a system to intercept large missiles. He said that we are strengthening our army with the friendly countries of Europe. We need more weapons, more air defense.
Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov spoke on phone with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Russia said that Ukraine is attacking our people and things like bridges and power plants. That's why we are responding. Moscow also said that our target will be only the Ukrainian army and those places from where the war is decided. It is not our intention to kill common people.
Experts are afraid that if drones and missiles continue like this, the whole of Europe may get affected. Both countries are not ready to step back. If the fighting escalates, oil and gas will become expensive and the politics of the entire world will be shaken. Right now threats are coming from both sides. No one knows what will happen next.
