Trump Approves Military Strike on Iran, Holds Final Order-Just One Signal Away from War

International News: The United States is now actively preparing for possible direct involvement in the Iran-Israel conflict. According to an exclusive Wall Street Journal report, President Donald Trump has authorized the Pentagon to prepare a military strike plan against Iran. However, he has decided to temporarily withhold the final execution order. This strategic delay, as confirmed by sources familiar with the president’s decision, hinges on one condition: whether Iran agrees to dismantle or suspend its nuclear ambitions. If Tehran refuses, the U.S. could align militarily with Israel in launching a full-scale offensive on Iranian soil.

Wall Street Journal Report Cites High-Level Sources

Three individuals familiar with internal White House discussions informed The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday that Trump gave verbal clearance for a military option against Iran. The report also states that Trump is personally monitoring Tehran’s nuclear stance before giving his final nod.As a precaution, the U.S. military has started relocating aircraft and naval vessels stationed at high-risk locations in the Middle East. Two American defense officials told Reuters that the repositioning includes assets from Bahrain, where the U.S. Fifth Fleet is based, and Qatar’s Al Udeid Air Base. Fighter jets and naval warships have been transferred to more secure locations amid concerns that Iranian missiles or drones could target them during the next escalation phase.

Not a Routine Move, But Not Unusual Either

One senior military official remarked, “This isn’t an unusual practice, but in current circumstances, it’s purely for the safety of our personnel and assets.” Reports earlier this week also suggested that a significant number of aerial tankers and other combat support equipment had been moved across Europe and the Middle East.In addition, a U.S. aircraft carrier currently deployed in the Indo-Pacific is reportedly en route to the Middle East, signaling a readiness for rapid action.

Growing Speculation Over U.S. Involvement

The world is closely watching Trump’s next move. His decision to delay the final order has created intense speculation globally, particularly after Israel launched airstrikes on Iran on June 12, claiming it had evidence Iran was nearing nuclear weapon capability. Iran, however, has denied any intention of acquiring nuclear weapons. The heightened military activity and diplomatic suspense have forced many civilians in Tehran to flee the city, fearing another wave of aerial bombardments.

No Ceasefire in Sight as Crisis Deepens

With Israel continuing its air campaign and Iran signaling no retreat, the possibility of a regional war involving multiple superpowers is becoming more real by the day. Trump's hesitation may be tactical, but preparations clearly indicate that a single spark could lead to American boots on Iranian ground.
