US Strike Destroys IRGC Headquarters, CENTCOM Says ‘Snake’s Head Has Been Cut Off’

Washington: The US Central Command (CENTCOM) itself has confirmed that they completely destroyed the headquarters of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The attack was so severe that CENTCOM described it as "beheading a snake." They say that in the last 47 years, the IRGC has been responsible for the deaths of more than 1,000 American citizens and soldiers, and now there is no IRGC headquarters left.

Did America really destroy the headquarters of IRGC?

CENTCOM itself has issued a statement saying that the IRGC headquarters was completely destroyed by the massive American strike. They posted, "This attack was part of the US-Israel joint operation, which started on Saturday and continued till Sunday.

How big a blow did the IRGC face?

IRGC is the most powerful military and security force of Iran, which works directly under the Supreme Leader. The destruction of its headquarters means a big gap in the command-and-control system. CENTCOM says the US has so far struck more than 1,000 Iranian targets, including the IRGC's joint headquarters, aerospace forces, air defense systems, ballistic missile sites and Navy ships.
