Zelensky's frank words: Will talk to Putin only then on peace deal, will not let Trump become the 'uncle' of war

International News: More than three years have passed since the war between Russia and Ukraine, but no concrete form of peace has emerged yet. In such a situation, 'Mission Istanbul' emerged as a new ray of hope. Preparations are being made for a possible meeting in this Turkish city, which could bring Ukrainian President Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin face to face. However, no final decision has been taken yet regarding this meeting.

Zelensky Draws a Red Line: Talks Only with Putin, Not Proxies

The proposal for this meeting has come from Russia itself, but there are doubts about Putin's participation in it. At the same time, Zelensky has made it clear that if there will be talks, it will be only with Putin, not with any other Russian representative. This indicates that Zelensky no longer wants any kind of pretentious dialogue for 'respectable peace'. In this sequence, he has also given two clear messages to former US President Donald Trump.

Message number 1: Talks will only be with Putin

After Donald Trump's appeal, Zelensky definitely said that he will go to Turkey, whether Putin comes or not. He will meet President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the capital Ankara, but if Putin reaches Istanbul, he is ready to go there immediately. This is a direct indication that now the talks will be only and only with Putin directly. There is no need for any mediator or broker. This attitude has given a message to Trump that he should stop trying to become 'Chaudhary from Gaza to Ukraine'. Zelensky now wants to keep him aside and talk directly to the main player.

Message No. 2: Recognize us even now

While talking to journalists in Kiev, Zelensky said that the path to peace will be clear only when Donald Trump understands that the real obstacle is Putin. He said bluntly, "Trump will have to accept that Putin lies repeatedly. If we want to move in the right direction, then it is important to recognize that we are not stopping the peace process."

Zelensky again showed Trump the reality of the situation

Remember that in his previous tenure, Trump tried to make a one-sided peace deal with Russia by ignoring Ukraine and his Nayo allies, but no concrete result came out. Now Zelensky is reminding him that for real peace, one must recognize the ground reality - who really wants peace and who is just playing power tricks.
