Air Attack Safety Tips: Tensions between India and Pakistan have reached their peak after the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam. The attack claimed the lives of 26 innocent tourists, triggering outrage across the country. In response, the Indian Army attacked terrorist bases located in Pakistan with missiles under Operation Sindoor, in which 9 terrorist bases were destroyed.

After this military action, a war-like situation is seen between the two countries. In such a situation, the biggest question in the minds of ordinary citizens is that if there is an air strike, how to save lives. Let's know some very important and smart ways, which can save your life during any air attack.

1. Be alert as soon as you hear sirens

Whenever there is a threat of a possible air strike, the administration issues sirens or alerts. If sirens sound in your area, don't ignore it. Move to a safe place immediately.

2. Identify the nearest bunker or safe place

Be aware of any bunker or underground shelter near your home, workplace or school. If there is no bunker, choose a room with sturdy walls, with fewer windows.

3. Close the windows and doors

If you do not have bunker facilities, stay indoors. Close all windows and doors and pull curtains to prevent glass breakage.

4. Always have an emergency kit ready

Keep a survival kit ready for emergencies, which includes flashlight, batteries, first aid box, water, dry food, power bank, radio and important documents.

5. Use of Transistor Radio

At times, communication services may be disrupted during air strikes. In such a situation, the battery-operated radio will keep giving you government alerts and important information.

6. Do not exit during the attack

Going out in the event of an air strike can be fatal. Do not go out even if the streets look empty. Hiding is the safest way to stay hidden during a drone or missile attack.

7. Prioritize children and the elderly

At the time of such a crisis, take children and the elderly to a safe place first. Take special care of their needs and do not let them panic.

8. Follow government instructions

Follow the government instructions given on TV, radio and official social media channels. Do not believe in rumours and do not take any decision in panic.

9. Keep in touch with each other

Keep in touch with your family and loved ones, but don't overload the mobile network. Call and use messaging only when necessary.
