New Delhi: Just days before her wedding to Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar, Saaniya Chandhok stepped away from the spotlight and into the wild. The bride-to-be jetted off to Kenya to enjoy a wild bachelorette bash with soon-to-be sister-in-law, Sara Tendulkar.
Instead of a predictable party setup, Saaniya chose wildlife for her bachelorette bash. The setting, which was less about glitter and more about memories, had open skies, safari views and evenings under the stars.
The bride to be was joined on the trip by Arjun's sister, Sara Tendulkar, and the two kept things intimate, away from the noise.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Sara shared unseen pictures from the only girls trip, which involved an adventurous safari ride, lunch amid the wild, and celebrating the bride-to-be.
She shared the pictures with the caption, "If found, return to the wild."
The timing did the trick. With the wedding just around the corner, the pictures landed at the right moment.
The safari shots, sunset walks, bachelorette night and quiet laughs struck a chord. In a space often filled with overdone luxury, this felt refreshing.
Arjun and Saaniya announced their relationship in August with an intimate engagement ceremony attended by close family and friends.
Saaniya hails from a well-known business family. She is the granddaughter of Ravi Ghai, chairman of the Graviss Group, which owns brands such as Baskin-Robbins, Brooklyn Creamery and InterContinental Hotels Group, as well as the iconic Kwality ice cream brand.
