New Delhi: The nation is gearing up for International Yoga Day 2026, which will be celebrated on June 21. The preparation for Yoga Day are in full swing across the country. For International Yoga Day, several events are being planned in various parts of the country. These events are being organised by the Ministry of AYUSH. The event will be witnessed by different sections of society including students, working people, yoga lovers as well as by fitness enthusiasts. The main objective of the event is to make people aware about their fitness and benefits yoga.
Most events will be held between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM of 21st June. From 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM tomorrow, all will be practicing on the occassion of International Yoga Day at the same time.

There will be yoga events in public places in Delhi. Thousands of people will do the yoga routine together. Schools and colleges are also joining in.

Mumbai is making sure that it can handle the crowds of people who will come to do yoga in these open spaces within the city.
Bengaluru's Yoga Day events will focus on people and working professionals. There will be yoga sessions in schools, colleges and community places. The goal is to help people manage stress and stay healthy at work.
Kolkata will be one of the biggest places to celebrate International Yoga Day 2026. There will be yoga events where people, from all walks of life will join in. It will be an popular event so everyone will notice it say the officials.
