Give Employment, Give Justice’ March Reaches Amethi On Day Seven, Gets Massive Support

The “Give Employment – Give Social Justice” march, led by AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, entered its seventh day in Sultanpur, drawing massive support from youth, workers, farmers and women.

Lucknow:  The "Give Employment - Give Social Justice" march, led by senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, continued its seventh day amid unprecedented public support in Sultanpur district. The march began at 10 a.m. from Maa Bhagwati Lawn, Utari, and reached Shyam Vatika in Trisundi, Amethi, via Pratapganj Bazaar, Raghav Dhaba, Durgapur Bazaar, and Ramganj. Wherever the march passed, youth, women, farmers, weavers, laborers, ASHA and Anganwadi workers, and small entrepreneurs gave it a grand welcome.

'UP becomes the state with the highest number of unemployed in the country'

During the march, AAP MP Sanjay Singh stated that Uttar Pradesh has become the state with the highest unemployment rate in the country, with the greatest impact on youth. Unemployment is not only affecting young people, but also farmers, weavers, and millions of families involved in small-scale industries. Sanjay Singh alleged that the government's faulty policies have devastated small enterprises and traditional businesses.

The AAP MP stated that caste discrimination remains the biggest obstacle to social progress in Uttar Pradesh. He added that through this march, he demanded equality and transparency at every level, from the government machinery to recruitment processes. Sanjay Singh stated that true social justice and development are impossible in the state until caste injustice is eradicated.

Sanjay Singh alleged that cases of atrocities against Dalits and backward classes have steadily increased under the BJP government. He said that the state BJP government is not only suppressing complaints but has also failed to provide justice to victims. Sanjay Singh said that until accountability is established within the power structure, atrocities against vulnerable groups will remain unchecked.

As the "Give Employment - Give Social Justice" march reached Pratapganj market on its seventh day, Sharafat Ullah Ansari, Mujeeb Ahmed, Girish Tiwari, Upendra Tiwari, Rakesh Tiwari, Zuber Khan, and Alok Tiwari welcomed MP Sanjay Singh with garlands of flowers. During this time, AAP MP Sanjay Singh, along with Bisani village headman Anil Yadav, spoke with local residents and learned about their problems.

Upon reaching Narayanpur, the march was warmly welcomed by Harishankar Jaiswal, Dharmendra Nath Shukla, Dr. Malkhan Singh, Satish Kumar Srivastava, Ram Niranjan Kori, Ram Bahadur Yadav, Ghanshyam Soni, Kavita Kashyap, Pooja Verma, and Lakshmi. At Raghav Dhaba, Harishankar Jaiswal, Atul Singh, and many others welcomed the march. In Ramganj, Anil Kori, Krishna, Santosh Kumar, Umesh, Shivpujan, Vishal, and Satish Sahu extended a warm welcome.

After a day-long march, Sanjay Singh arrived at Shyam Vatika in Trisundi, Amethi, in the evening, where a large crowd gave the march a grand welcome. The "Give Employment, Give Social Justice" march will begin tomorrow from Shyam Vatika in Trisundi and continue through various areas of Amethi, heading towards its next stop.
